Some Things Looming Fiber Arts Gallery and Studio

Submission deadline: February 25, 2012
Submit works for its salon-style exhibition, Refuse / reseen that is part of the larger FiberPhiladelphia 2012 biennial celebration that runs from March through May involving many artists, gallery exhibitions, major art institutions and numerous independent venues. The entry fee is $35 and the "Best in Show" winner will be awarded $258 and his or her own show at Some Things Looming during the 2012-2013 exhibit season. Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site

Currently accepting proposals for the 2013 site-specific artist installations in Eastern State Penitentiary. Artists are chosen based on their ability to capture the primary themes of the site including crime, justice, architectural history and the site's past as the world's first true "penitentiary."
